INTERFAITH AMERICA was born out of a meeting of three interfaith friends Dr. Hanif Koya (Editor/Publisher of Fiji Sun) Rev. David Rosenblum and Rev. Mark Denni of Bay Area Family Church an affiliate of Father Moon's Church. Dr. Koya is a member of AMC (Ahmadiyya Muslim Community) San Francisco Bay Area.

 

It was at a dinner meeting one evening in Dec. 2008, the trio met at My Favorite Indian Restaurant on C Street in Hayward. As the group discussed ways of reviving and keeping alive the Community of Faith Breakfast meeting held at the Bay Area Family Church, Washington Ave., San Leandro, it was felt that a more neutral and an all-embracing forum should be created.

Dr. Koya proposed the idea of INTERFAITH AMERICA; all three agreed and became co-founders of INTERFAITH AMERICA. Each co-founder is a director with a given scope of roles and responsibilities: Dr. H. Koya, Director of Administration,. David Rosenblum Director of Operations, and Rev. Mark Denni, Director of Public Relations.

The Interfaith Breakfast meetings are aimed at attracting people of different faiths to come and share their thoughts and beliefs as they relate to family values and raising ONE FAMILY UNDER GOD - a Father Moon theory. In Interfaith Breakfast Meetings, speakers address key issues that affect our lives.
